*** BIOGRAPHY ***

Brother Shelton Keith Muhammad formerly Shelton Keith Gardner

I was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The son of Esther Maye Turner and Joseph Gardner.

I am a graduate of Indian River High School in Chesapeake VA

where I was one of the captains of the football and one of the

captains of the track team.

I attended Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia where I pledged Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, the Mighty Lambda Chapter.

I later transferred to Norfolk State University in Norfolk Virginia and became the president of the Delta Zeta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

I graduated from Norfolk State University with degrees in Military Science and a Commissioned Lieutenant in the United States Army,

also with degrees in Mathematics, and Electronical Engineering.

I later became a licensed teacher in Middle School Mathematics and Science, and Mathematics.

I received a master's in School Supervision Grades K -12 from

Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville North Carolina and started the doctoral program in Educational Leadership but did not

complete my dissertation.

I was a Captain and trainer of the men of the Fruit of Islam and later the student minister in the

Nation of Islam in Norfolk Virginia one of what I consider to be one of my greatest accomplishments was to help to organize the Tidewater and Hampton Roads mobilization areas for the

Historic Million Man March in 1995.

I have been married for 27 years today and we have been

blessed with four children.

Later we were blessed by Allah (God) to purchase a 66-acre farm in Southampton County, Virginia where we now live.

Our primary focus now is to help the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan save and resurrect our people, unite our people, provide jobs, and

better-quality food, make our community safe, decent, and clean, and most importantly establish respect and protection for our women and girls.
